Never send a seed phrase or private key to anyone offering help. A legitimate support conversation does not require them.
THE SAFETY CHECKLIST
Six checks before connecting a wallet, signing a request, or sending crypto.
Never send a seed phrase or private key to anyone offering help. A legitimate support conversation does not require them.
Open a known official address and inspect the full domain. Search ads, messages, and copied branding are not proof that a page is authentic.
Someone contacting you first may be impersonating a provider. Find support through the provider’s official website instead of using a link in their message.
Slow down when a pitch promises easy profits or pressures you to act immediately. Do not send more money to unlock a supposed reward.
Read what a request authorizes before approving it. Reject requests you cannot explain. A token approval can give an application permission to spend tokens.
Verify the destination address, asset, and network using official instructions. A small test may reveal mistakes, but it does not prove a recipient or investment is trustworthy.
You can reject a request and take more time. This checklist helps you ask better questions; it cannot remove all risk.
